Ingredients
- 5 Star buns
- 500g mince beef
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2 tbsp. Ketchup
- 5 little gem lettuce leaves
- 5 cheese slices

Method
- Mix mince beef in a bowl with 1.5 tbsp. ketchup and the egg
- Make 5 100g patties from the mixture, ensuring they’re all the same thickness
- Put on a plate, cover with cling film and leave in the fridge to firm up for at least 30 minutes
- Lightly brush 1 side of each burger with vegetable oil
- Place the burgers, oil-side down in a pan for 5 minutes before oiling the other side and turning the pattie over to cook for another 5 minutes
- Place lettuce on the base of the bun, top with the burger pattie, a slice of cheese and the rest of the ketchup.
